November

I cannot believe that it is almost Thanksgiving!  Where has the year gone?  My baby boy is going to be 6 and soon my baby girl will be 4.  Now we are debating a 3rd child...

October

We are loving October!  It is fun for baking, getting ready for Halloween, pumpkin carving and fall!  The cooler weather is approaching and we are enjoying seeing the leaves start to change colors.  Looking for new recipes to try.

Kids are doing great in school!  Thank goodness.  Busy week ahead of us between school, karate and dance.  It is amazing how much running around a mom does.  Have a great day!

week 5

We are starting week 5 of school in the am... I am so proud of the boy.  He has been doing an amazing job at school, tired as anything but doing great.  The princess is doing wonderful in school too, and an awesome job at dance.  So proud of my 2 beautiful children.  And I cannot say enough good things about my wonderful husband!  My love and soul mate thank you for all that you do.

Long weekends

Long weekends aren't the best at the begining of school because now we have to get our groove back!  We had a really good thing going and 2 days of staying up later and waking up later have us all off our schedule!  Hopefully we will have it back by the end of the week!

TGIF

TGIF, so looking forward to the long weekend.  Have a fun filled and busy weekend ahead of us!  Hopefully we will have great weather.

Been a couple of days!  It has been a busy couple of days though.  School is crazy and this early morning is still killing me.  I have been able to stay up a little bit later than usual but them I am tired all day.  Well at least I am not getting into bed with the kids at 7pm.  Although we are getting up around the same time. 

Tired

The boy is wiped out from karate and school.  We need to work on an earlier bed time for him.  Although his sister isn't as bothered by waking up at 6-6:15am.  She wakes up with a smile on her face and ready to go.  He on the other hand wanted just 1 more min.  He is so my son.

2nd week of school

Well so much for thinking he wouldn't be on a schedule...the boy wide eyedly popped up out of bed at 5:35am.  I think he is adjusting to the time.  Had breakfast by 6 and even took a shower and was ready to walk out the door at 6:45am.  I guess he is falling into a schedule very quickly, better than me at least.
Well now to get the Princess off to school.  Have a great day!

2 more days and we are back to the grind with school for the boy.  Hopefully he didn't get off schedule for waking up before the sun!  Have a great rest of the weekend be back on Monday.....

Saturday

Just on the first day after the first week you would think that we could sleep in...well my husband wasn't so lucky as I was because the boy woke him up this morning and said daddy we need to get up before the sun comes out.  How horrible is that!  He is saying that his first weekend.  Hopefully he is adjusting ok and better than me!

bus

Waiting for the bus to see the boy after his 1st entire week of school.  We are so excited!  Hopefully he has a new book from the library!

TGIF

Friday!  Need I say much more than that.  We have officially finished our first week of school.  The boy still likes going which is such a relief.  Now lets see what time we all wake up on Saturday and Sunday.  Do we sleep in or make sure we stay within the same schedule so we don't have to adjust to the waking up early again.

4th day

4th day and it is only 9:19 and I am heading to bed.  It was a good overall day!

4th day

Okay so today was a little easier than yesterday getting the boy up...although he is still very tired and wants to sleep more.  Getting him to eat breakfast this early is getting to be a little easier and hopefully will continue this way.  I think that we are all looking forward to the weekend and sleeping in a bit.

3rd day

So by the end of 3rd day not only is the boy exhausted but this momma isn't too far behind him...he is out for the count and I cannot wait to get into my bed!  Goodnight and sleep tight!

3rd day

So 1st day was good, 2nd day was good, 3rd day Mommy I don't want to get up I am sleeping and tired.   Please Mommy I just want to snuggle don't make me get up!  OMG it broke my heart and as much as he didn't want to get out of bed neither did I.  I hope tonight we can try and get both of us to bed earlier and he sleeps better.

Tired

The kids are exhausted.  Waking up at 6am is kicking all of our butts.  Hopefully we can get bedtime earlier so they aren't as tired as they are now. And it is only 7pm

2nd day of kindergarten

2nd day of kindergarten and we both survived the 1st and the boy was looking forward to his 2nd day at school and more importantly on the bus.
